WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND INJURY MANAGEMENT ACT 1981 - SECT 250
250 . Effect of appeal on decision under appeal
(1) The District Court
may, by order, stay the operation of a decision of an arbitrator pending the
determination of an application for leave to appeal from the decision and of
any appeal.
(2) Subject to any
order made by the District Court, an appeal does not affect the operation of
the decision appealed against or prevent the taking of action to implement the
decision.
(3) This section does
not limit the powers of the District Court under other written laws.
