WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND INJURY MANAGEMENT ACT 1981 - SECT 182ZU
182ZU . Acceptance of application by Registrar
(1) An application for
arbitration cannot be accepted by the Registrar unless it is accompanied by
—
(a) a
certificate issued by the Director under section 182H stating that no matter
in dispute is suitable for conciliation; or
(b) a
certificate issued by a conciliation officer under section 182O identifying
the matter or matters in dispute that have not been resolved by conciliation.
(2) The Registrar may
reject an application for arbitration if it does not comply with the
arbitration rules.
(3) Arbitration
commences when an application for arbitration is accepted by the Registrar.
