WATERWAYS CONSERVATION ACT 1976 - SECT 4

4 .         Repeal and transitional provisions

        (1)         The Swan River Conservation Act 1958 is hereby repealed.

        [(2)         deleted]

        (3)         Without limiting the operation of the Interpretation Act 1918   ² , until provision is made under this Act in relation to the matters formerly vested in or under the control or management of the former Board the regulations, Orders in Council, proclamations, notices, permits, approvals, consents or authorisations made or given under the Swan River Conservation Act 1958 , shall in so far as they are not inconsistent with this Act apply to persons, acts, circumstances and things under this Act as if they were made under this Act.
