shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and
shall, under such name as is assigned to it by the Governor, be capable in law
of suing and being sued, of purchasing, holding, and alienating land, and of
doing and suffering all other acts and things which bodies corporate may by
law do and suffer.
A change in the mode
of constitution of a water board shall not affect its continuity as a body
corporate.
