Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts The Corporation shall
not open or break up the surface of any street, where a major obstruction of
the street or dislocation of traffic will be caused thereby, unless the
Corporation —
(a) has
given to the local government or department having the control and management
of the street not less than 48 hours notice of its intention; or
(b) is
of the opinion that the circumstances are such that an emergency situation
exists.
