Western Australian Consolidated Acts[s. 3]
1. The Legislative Council, the Legislative
Assembly and a committee of either or both of them.
2. The offices of member of the Legislative
Council and member of the Legislative Assembly.
3. A parliamentary department.
4. The organization, controlled by a member of
Parliament, that is concerned with dealing with constituency matters of the
member, even if it includes an electorate officer appointed under the
Parliamentary and Electorate Staff (Employment) Act 1992 to assist the
member.
5. The organization, controlled by the secretary
of a parliamentary political party, that is concerned with dealing with the
affairs of the party, even if it includes an electorate officer appointed
under the Parliamentary and Electorate Staff (Employment) Act 1992 to
assist the secretary.
6. The organization, controlled by the holder of
an office described in paragraph (d), (e) or (f) of the definition of
“political office holder” in section 3 of the Public Sector
Management Act 1994 , even if it includes a ministerial officer appointed
under that Act to assist the holder of the office.
7. The organization, controlled by the leader of a
party in the Legislative Assembly, other than a party led by the Premier or by
the Leader of the Opposition in that House, even if it includes a ministerial
officer appointed under the Public Sector Management Act 1994 to assist the
leader.
