SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT 1999 - SECT 95
95 . Student enrolled after compulsory education period, principal’s power to exclude from school attendance
(1) The principal of a
government school may exclude from attendance at the school —
(a) a
student who is enrolled under section 81 if —
(i)
the student’s attendance at the school is not
satisfactory; or
(ii)
the student is not participating in the educational
programme of the school in a way that is of benefit to his or her educational
progress; or
(iii)
the student has failed to comply with a requirement of
any applicable code of conduct for students at the school;
and
(b) a
student who is enrolled under section 81 if he or she has failed to comply
with any condition imposed by the chief executive officer under that section.
(2) The powers in this
section are in addition to the other powers conferred by this Division.
