Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A child of
compulsory school age is entitled to be enrolled at a local-intake school
if —
(a) his
or her usual place of residence is in the intake area for that school; and
(b) an
appropriate educational programme is available for the child at that school.
(2) A child of
compulsory school age whose usual place of residence is not in the intake area
for a local-intake school is entitled to be enrolled at that school
if —
(a)
there is available for the child at that school —
(i)
an appropriate educational programme; and
(ii)
classroom accommodation;
and
(b) the
enrolment would conform with any other criteria prescribed by the regulations
for the purposes of this subsection.
