Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Where a child with
a disability is enrolled at a government school, the principal is
to —
(a)
consult with the child’s parents, any of the child’s teachers or
prospective teachers and, if appropriate, the child; and
(b) take
into account the wishes of the child’s parents and, if appropriate, the
child,
for the purpose of
addressing or reviewing the particular child’s requirements in relation
to the content and implementation of the educational programme for the child.
(2) The content and
implementation of the educational programme for a child with a disability is
to be decided by the principal subject to the direction and control of the
chief executive officer.
