Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) Every government
school is to have a principal, that is a person appointed under
section 236(2) to be in charge of the school.
(2) Except with the
approval of the Minister, a person is not to be so appointed unless he or she
is classified as a school administrator under section 237.
(3)
Subsection (2) does not apply to a temporary or acting appointment.
(4) Nothing in
subsection (2) prevents a person from being appointed as a principal and
being classified as a school administrator at the same time.
