SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT 1999 - SECT 172
172 . School in school system may withdraw from system
(1) The person or body
of persons that has the ownership of a school that is a member of a school
system may give notice to the Minister that the school intends to withdraw
from the system.
(2) Despite
section 159A(3)(a), an application under section 159A for the renewal of the
registration of a school that withdraws from a school system can be made
within one month after the withdrawal of the school from the system.
(3) The Minister is to
inform the governing body of the relevant school system of the notice given
under subsection (1).
