SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT 1999 - SECT 126
126 . Exemptions from and approvals for s. 125
(1) The Minister may
by order published in the Government Gazette —
(a)
exempt a school from the requirements of section 125(1) if the Minister is
satisfied that it is not necessary for the school to have a Council —
(i)
because of its size or nature; or
(ii)
because the functions to be performed by a Council can be
provided by some other means;
and
(b) give
an approval for the purposes of section 125(2); and
(c) at
any time revoke an order and specify a time by which the school is to comply
with section 125(1).
(2) The Minister may
—
(a) make
an exemption or approval subject to any condition; and
(b)
impose any further condition or vary or revoke a condition at any time.
