SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT 1999 - SECT 10
10 . Ways in which s. 9 satisfied
(1) The duty imposed
by section 9 is satisfied in respect of a child by —
(a) the
enrolment of the child at a school; or
(b) the
registration under section 48 of a parent as the child’s home educator
and the continuation in effect of that registration.
(2) The reference to
enrolment in subsection (1)(a) includes enrolment of a child in either of the
final years of compulsory education for part-time studies if the extent of
those studies when taken with an option or options under section 11B will meet
the requirements of section 11C and regulations made for the purposes of that
section.
