SURVEILLANCE DEVICES ACT 1998 - SECT 34
34 . Possession of surveillance device for unlawful use
A person shall not
possess a surveillance device in the knowledge that it is intended or
principally designed for use in contravention of any of section 5, 6 or 7.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual: $5 000 or imprisonment for 12 months, or both;
(b) for
a body corporate: $50 000.
