the contrary intention appears —
mediation under direction means mediation carried
out by a mediator under a direction of the Court under and subject to the
rules of court;
mediator means —
(a) a
registrar appointed by the Chief Justice to be a mediation registrar under the
rules of court;
(b) a
person approved by the Chief Justice to be a mediator under the rules of
court; or
(c) a
person agreed by the parties.
