Western Australian Consolidated Acts Where any property is
conveyed, whether by way of sale or otherwise, to any person in consideration,
wholly or in part, of any debt due to him or subject either certainly or
contingently to the payment or transfer of any money, marketable security or
right in respect of shares, whether being or constituting a charge or
encumbrance upon the property or not, such debt, money, marketable security or
right in respect of shares is to be deemed the whole or part, as the case may
be, of the consideration in respect whereof the conveyance is chargeable with
ad valorem duty and such conveyance shall be deemed to be a conveyance on sale
of the property and to be chargeable with ad valorem duty accordingly.
