PUBLIC TRUSTEE ACT 1941 - SECT 50
50 . Appointment and duties of agent
(1) The Public Trustee
may appoint any person to act as his agent. At the request of the Public
Trustee any registrar of the Magistrates Court, and any other officer of the
State, shall act as such agent within his district, and with, under and
subject to such powers, conditions, and limitations as are contained in such
appointment.
(2) Every such agent,
not being a registrar of the Magistrates Court, or other officer of the State
shall, if required by the Public Trustee, give such security for the due
performance of his duties as the Public Trustee thinks proper and sufficient.
