Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts An employing authority
of a department or organisation (in this section
referred to as "the seconding authority") may, if it considers it to be in the
public interest to do so and the public service officer concerned consents,
enter into an arrangement in writing with another such employing authority or
with an employer outside the Public Sector for the secondment of a public
service officer (other than an executive officer) in the department or
organisation of the seconding authority to perform functions or services for,
or duties in the service of, the other department or organisation or that
employer during such period as is specified in that arrangement.
