Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) An executive
officer who has an entitlement under section 58(3) to employment may
elect in writing to take compensation under section 59 instead of
exercising that entitlement.
(2) On an election
under subsection (1) taking effect, the executive officer
concerned —
(a)
ceases to have the entitlement under section 58(3); and
(b)
becomes entitled to compensation under section 59.
