Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Commissioner
shall be appointed by the Governor on the recommendation of the Minister, and
shall hold office in accordance with this Division.
(2) Before making a
recommendation under subsection (1), the Minister shall consult the
parliamentary leader of each party in the Parliament.
(3) Subject to this
Division, a person appointed as the Commissioner shall hold office for a term
of 5 years, and is eligible for reappointment.
