administrator means a person appointed or engaged
under section 15Y or 15Z;
contract worker means a natural person who is
—
(a) a
contractor or an employee or agent of a contractor; or
(b) a
subcontractor or an employee or agent of a subcontractor;
function includes power, duty, responsibility and
authority;
intervene , in relation to a contract, means
—
(a) to
give directions as to the manner in which a prison service that is a subject
of the contract is to be provided; or
(b) to
provide a prison service that is a subject of the contract;
other officer means an officer, except a medical
officer, referred to in section 6(3) or a person engaged under
section 6(5);
perform , in relation to a function, includes the
exercise of a power, responsibility or authority.
