Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Minister shall
appoint one of the members of the Commission to be deputy chairperson of the
Commission.
(2) During any vacancy
in the office of chairperson or while the chairperson is unable to act by
reason of sickness, absence or other cause, the deputy chairperson shall
perform the functions of the chairperson.
(3) No act or omission
of the deputy chairperson acting as the chairperson shall be questioned on the
ground that the occasion for so acting had not arisen or had ceased.
