MOTOR VEHICLE DEALERS ACT 1973 - SECT 19A
19A . Surrender of authorisation
(1) The holder of an
authorisation may, by notice in writing given to the Commissioner and
accompanied by the relevant authorisation, surrender that authorisation.
(2) If an
authorisation is surrendered, the Commissioner shall refund to the former
holder of the authorisation so much of the fee last paid for the authorisation
as the Commissioner, on application by the former holder of the authorisation,
specifies as appropriate to be refunded.
(3) Despite the
surrender by a person of an authorisation, this Act applies, for the purpose
of enabling the person to be investigated or otherwise dealt with for a matter
arising before the surrender, as if the authorisation had not been
surrendered.
