MAIN ROADS ACT 1930 - SECT 32A
32A . Railway Crossing Protection Account
(1) There shall be
maintained under this Act an agency special purpose account established under
section 16 of the Financial Management Act 2006 to be known as the Railway
Crossing Protection Account.
(1a) There shall be
allocated to the Railway Crossing Protection Account —
(a) in
the year ending on 30 June 1983 — $650 000; and
(b) in
subsequent years — such amount as the Minister may, on the
recommendation of the Commissioner, from time to time determine.
(2) Moneys standing to
the credit of the Railway Crossing Protection Account shall be applied in
meeting the cost of providing, improving, maintaining and repairing such
crossings under, across or above railways in the State as the Minister may, on
the recommendation of the Commissioner, from time to time determine.
