Public holidays

The following are public holidays — 

        New Year’s Day.

        Australia Day.

        Labour Day.

        Good Friday.

        Easter Monday.

        Anzac Day.

        Foundation Day.

        Celebration Day for the anniversary of the birthday of the reigning Sovereign (the day appointed by proclamation published in the Gazette under the Public and Bank Holidays Act 1972 ).

        Christmas Day.

        Boxing Day.
