Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) A reference in
this Part to an employee includes a reference to any person in any manner
employed for wages in work of any kind or in manual labour.
(2) In
subsection (1), wages includes any money or thing had or contracted to be
paid, delivered, or given as a recompense, reward, or remuneration.
(3) A reference in
this Part to the contract of employment only applies if the
contract is in writing.
