Western Australian Consolidated Acts A court convicting a
person of an offence against this Act may, in addition to imposing a
penalty, order the person to pay to the Trustees the full amount of the
antiquarian value of the property damaged, mutilated, destroyed or removed, as
the case may be, and the amount so ordered to be paid may be recovered as if
it were part of the penalty imposed, notwithstanding that the total of the
penalty and that amount exceeds the maximum penalty that may be imposed.
