MINING ACT 1978 - SECT 56
56 . Appeal against refusal to grant prospecting licence
(1) Where the mining
registrar or the warden refuses to grant an application for a prospecting
licence or grants the application on conditions the applicant considers
unreasonable, the applicant may within the time and in the manner prescribed
appeal to the Minister against such refusal or conditions as the case may be.
(2) The Minister may
dismiss the appeal or uphold the appeal and grant the application on such
conditions as he considers reasonable.
