Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Governor may
make such regulations as are contemplated by this Act or as he considers
necessary or expedient for the purposes of this Act.
(2) Without limiting
the generality of subsection (1), those regulations
may —
(a)
prescribe the procedure of the Board;
(b)
provide for the enforcement of an order of the Board under section 14 for
the payment of costs;
(c)
provide for the advertising of notices of applications for licences;
(d)
prescribe, and provide for the recovery of, any fee for the purposes of this
Act;
(e)
prescribe the particulars to be recorded in the register required to be kept
under this Act;
[(f) deleted]
(g)
prescribe penalties not exceeding $1 000 for any breach of the
regulations.
(3) Section 45(1)
and (2) of the Interpretation Act 1984 apply in respect of fees
prescribed under this Act despite sections 3(3) and 45(3) of that
Act.
