Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Board must not
grant or renew a local practising certificate unless the applicant produces
evidence to the satisfaction of the Board that the applicant is, or will be,
covered by professional indemnity insurance that complies with the
requirements imposed under this Act in relation to the applicant.
(2) This section does
not apply in relation to a person, or person of a class, exempted from the
requirements of the regulations.
(3) The Board is
entitled to accept as evidence that the applicant has, or will, comply with
the requirements of the regulations under Part 11 evidence that the
regulations provide is acceptable evidence for the purposes of this section.
