Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Supreme Court
must maintain a roll of persons admitted to the legal profession under this
Act (the local roll ).
(2) When a person is
admitted under this Act, the person’s name must be entered on the local
roll.
(3) A person admitted
to the legal profession under this Act must sign the local roll.
(4) The admission of a
person under this Act is effective from the time the person signs the local
roll.
(5) The Principal
Registrar must forward to the Board the name, date of birth and date of
admission of each person admitted under this Act as soon as practicable after
the person has signed the local roll.
