Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The term for which
the Minister appoints a person to be a member of the Authority’s board
of management is to be fixed in the instrument of appointment and is to be not
longer than 3 years.
(2) A person’s
eligibility for reappointment or the term for which a person may be
reappointed is not affected by an earlier appointment.
(3) A person whose
term of office expires continues in office, for not more than 3 months
after the term of office expires, until another appointment to the office
comes into effect unless —
(a)
under section 25, the person resigns or is removed from office; or
(b)
under section 22(2), the person becomes ineligible to be an appointed
member.
