4.40 . Residents roll
(1) Subject to
section 4.37(3), on or before the 63 rd day before election day, the CEO is to
advise the Electoral Commissioner of the need to prepare a residents roll for
the election.
(2) On or before the
43 rd day before election day, the Electoral Commissioner is to prepare a
residents roll for the election and forward a copy of it to the CEO.
(3) The residents roll
is to include the names of all persons who were electors of the district or
ward under section 4.29 at the close of enrolments (other than persons who
will be under 18 years of age on election day) and is to be certified to that
effect by the Electoral Commissioner.
