LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 2.42

2.42 .         Commissioner to make declaration

        (1)         A person cannot act in the office of commissioner until he or she has made a declaration in the prescribed form.

        (2)         A person who acts in an office contrary to this section commits an offence.

        Penalty: $5 000 or imprisonment for one year.
