Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) No person shall,
without the consent of the Corporation, stop or obstruct any drain vested in
or under the control of the Corporation or make any branch drain to connect
with any such drain.
Penalty: $1 000.

(3) The court before
which any person is convicted under this section may in addition to or in lieu
of any penalty, order the offender to pay to the Corporation the amount of the
cost or expense incurred or which in the opinion of the court will be incurred
by the Corporation in removing the stoppage or obstruction or reforming or
improving the drain so as to bring it into a satisfactory condition.
