Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Minister may
terminate the term of office of a member if —
(a) the
member has been convicted of an indictable offence or an offence that, if
committed in Western Australia, would be an indictable offence; or
(b) the
member is an insolvent under administration according to the meaning of that
term in the Commonwealth Corporations Act 2001 ; or
(c) the
Minister is satisfied that the member has become incapable of performing, or
has neglected to perform, the duties of office; or
(d) the
Minister is satisfied that the member is unfit to hold office because of
misconduct.
(2) A member may
resign office by giving the Minister a signed letter of resignation.
