LIQUOR CONTROL ACT 1988 - SECT 98
98 . Hotel licence, permitted hours under
(1) The permitted
hours under a hotel licence are —
(a) on a
day other than a Sunday — from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight;
(b) on a
Sunday — from 10 a.m. to 12 midnight;

(d) on
New Year’s Day — from immediately after 12 midnight on New
Year’s Eve to 2 am and then in accordance with paragraph (a) or (b), as
the case requires;
(e) on
Good Friday or Christmas Day — from 12 noon to 10 p.m., but only for
liquor sold ancillary to a meal supplied by the licensee;
(f) on
ANZAC Day — from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
(2) The permitted
hours under a hotel licence for the sale of liquor to a lodger are
unrestricted.
