LIQUOR CONTROL ACT 1988 - SECT 128
128 . Regulations about licence fees
(1) Regulations may be
made for and with respect to the time, place and method of the payment of
licence fees, penalties for late payment, the reduction, waiver or refund of
licence fees or such penalties, and the suspension or cancellation of licences
or permits after a failure to pay any moneys payable.
(2) Without limiting
subsection (1) or section 127, regulations may prescribe licence fees by
reference to —
(a) all
or any of the following —
(i)
the class of licence;
(ii)
any restrictions or conditions imposed in relation to the
licence;
(iii)
the type of premises;
(iv)
the location of the premises;
(v)
the capacity of the premises;
(vi)
the trading hours;
(vii)
the convictions for offences under this Act, if any, of
the applicant for the licence;
(viii)
the disciplinary action under Part 3 Division 13, if any,
taken against the applicant for the licence;
(ix)
any other criteria prescribed in the regulations;
or
(b) the
extension of the operation of a licence by a permit; or
(c) the
purposes for which a permit is to be issued, or the period during which a
permit is to have effect.
