LEGAL AID COMMISSION ACT 1976 - SECT 70

70 .         Certain rights and liabilities of Law Society to vest in Commission

                On and after the appointed day  2 all outstanding rights and liabilities of the Law Society in connection with the provision of legal assistance pursuant to Part V of the Legal Contribution Trust Act 1967 8 (including rights and liabilities relating to debts due and moneys payable to or by the Law Society) shall be rights and liabilities of the Commission and shall be enforceable by or against the Commission.
