LAND ADMINISTRATION ACT 1997 - SECT 227
227 . Assessor not member of SAT may sit on SAT
(1) The President may
specify a person appointed as an assessor by the claimant or the acquiring
authority to be one of the persons by whom the State Administrative Tribunal
is to be constituted even though the person does not hold office as a member
of the State Administrative Tribunal.
(2) For the purposes
of dealing with the matter for which the person was appointed as an assessor,
the person is to be regarded as being an ordinary member and the
State Administrative Tribunal Act 2004 applies to the person as if, when
acting in that capacity, the person were an ordinary member.
