LAND ADMINISTRATION ACT 1997 - SECT 120
120 . Non-pastoral agricultural activity, permit for
(1) The Board may, on
an application in writing from a pastoral lessee, issue a permit for the
lessee to use specified land under the lease for crop, fodder, horticultural
or other specified kind of agricultural production if it is satisfied that the
proposed use is reasonably related to the pastoral use of the land.
(2) An application
must specify the non-pastoral activity proposed and the areas of land proposed
to be used for the activity.
(3) A permit under
this section —
(a) may
include a permit for the sale of any produce arising from an activity
permitted; and
(b) may
be issued for any period and subject to any conditions the Board thinks fit.
