LAND ADMINISTRATION ACT 1997 - SECT 100
100 . Protection from personal liability for members
(1) An action in tort
does not lie against a member of the Board for anything that the member has
done in good faith in the exercise or performance, or purported exercise or
performance, of a function under this Part.
(2) The protection
given by this section applies even if the thing done in the performance or
purported performance of a function under this Act might have been capable of
being done if this Part had not been enacted.
(3) This section does
not relieve the Crown of any liability that it might have for the doing of
anything by a member of the Board.
(4) In this section, a
reference to the doing of anything includes a reference to the omission to do
anything.
