Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) If a person dies
as a result of a personal injury other than an injury that is attributable to
the inhalation of asbestos but, immediately before the death, a cause of
action relating to the personal injury had not accrued under section 55,
the cause of action relating to the personal injury is to be taken as having
accrued when the person died.
(2) If a person dies
as a result of a personal injury that is attributable to the inhalation of
asbestos but, immediately before the death, a cause of action relating to the
personal injury had not accrued under section 56, the cause of action
relating to the personal injury is to be taken as having accrued when the
person died.
