Western Australian Consolidated Acts The Council may do all
acts and things that may be necessary to be done to enable it to achieve its
objects and perform its functions and, in particular and in addition to any
other powers conferred on it by this Act, the Council may in its corporate
name —
(a)
acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property;
(b)
accept any gift, whether by will or inter vivos , of any real or personal
property or any interest or estate therein, or disclaim the benefit of any
such gift;
(c) sue
and be sued;
(d) do
and suffer all that bodies corporate may do and suffer.
