Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Minister shall
appoint a member of the Council, not being a member who is an officer in the
Public Service of the State, to be the Chairman of the Council.
(2) The office of
Chairman becomes vacant if —
(a) the
person holding the office resigns the office by notice in writing to the
Minister;
(b) the
person holding the office ceases to be a member of the Council; or
(c) the
Minister declares the office to be vacant.
(3) There shall be
paid to the Chairman, from moneys standing to the credit of the Fund, such
remuneration and allowances as the Governor determines.
