Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) The Director may
investigate —
(a) a
complaint which the Director has decided to accept if, in the Director’s
opinion, the complaint is not suitable for conciliation; or
(b) a
complaint which the Director decides in accordance with section 43 to
investigate.
(2) Within
14 days after commencing an investigation the Director must give to the
provider written notice of the investigation, including, where
subsection (1) applies, details of the complaint.
(3) In the case of a
registered provider the Director must give a copy of a notice under
subsection (2) to the provider’s registration board and must notify
the provider in writing that the Director has given such notice.
