17 . Matters which shall be dealt with in Code
As a matter of
principle but without limiting the generality of section 14(1)(c), in the
compilation of the Code of Practice the Council shall prohibit the mixing in
the same artificial fertilisation procedure of multiple sources of —
(a)
human gametes; or
(b)
human eggs undergoing fertilisation; or
(c)
human embryos,
in such a manner as
may create confusion as to the biological parentage of any child born as a
result of the procedure.
