Western Australian Consolidated Acts Western Australian Consolidated Acts (1) An agreement or
arrangement that purports to exclude or restrict the operation of any
provision of this Act or to modify any such provision to the disadvantage
of an owner is to that extent void.
(2) A purported waiver
of a right conferred by or under this Act is void.
(3) A person must not
enter into any agreement or arrangement with intent either directly or
indirectly to defeat, evade or prevent the operation of this Act.
Penalty: $10 000.
