Western Australian Consolidated Acts (a) The
local government may take and acquire any land it may from time to time deem
necessary for any of the purposes of this Part. Any such land shall be taken
under and subject to the provisions of Part 9 of the Land
Administration Act 1997 .
(b) If a
local government fails to serve an offer on any claimant against the local
government for compensation under the said Act within the time limited for
that purpose by that Act, the Minister may at any time thereafter serve an
offer on behalf of the local government, and such offer shall be deemed to be
an offer made by the local government for the purposes of the said Act.
