14 . Relationship with other Acts and rules of law
(1) This Act is to be
read and construed as being in addition to, and not in derogation of or in
substitution for, any other Act or rule of law for the time being in force in
this State that relates to the duty or liability of persons with respect to
goods or services supplied to a consumer.
(2) Except as
expressly provided by this Act, nothing in this Act is to be taken to limit,
restrict or otherwise affect any right or remedy a person would have had if
this Act had not been enacted.
